What horses can compete in the AEPA $100,000 Futurity at Scottsdale in 2011?
Was the sire of your horse in the AEPA 2007 or the 2008 stallion auction? Check under Stallion Archives on this website. If so, your horse is eligible.
OR
Was the sire of your horse in the AEPA 2010 auction? If so, then check with the stallion owner and make sure that he will also be enrolled in the AEPA 2011 auction. If the sire of your horse was in the 2010 auction and will be in the 2011 auction then your horse is eligible.
What horses can compete in the AEPA $100,000 Futurity at Scottsdale in 2012 and beyond?
Starting in 2012 only those horses who were sired by stallions that were in the AEPA Stallion auction that corresponds with the breeding year are eligible. Thus for competition year 2012 the sire must have been in the 2007 AEPA Stallion Auction (bred in 2007, foaled in 2008, 4 years old in 2012). For competition year 2013 the sire must have been in the AEPA 2008 Stallion Auction (bred in 2008, born in 2009, 4 years old in 2013), etc.
